  • {Should we note here that both spouses should be present at the appointment if at all possible?}
  • Your current year tax documents, including
    • W-2 forms (wages, gambling winnings)
    • 1099 forms (Social Security benefits, pensions, IRAs, dividends, interest, unemployment benefits)
    • Brokerage statements
    • Real estate tax and mortgage interest statements (if itemizing or not sure)
    • Scholarship, tuition, and student loan statements
    • Health Savings Account and medical insurance forms
    • Self-employment income and expense records
  • A checkbook or bank document if you’d like to direct deposit your refund or make an IRS payment from your bank account
  • Last year’s tax return (suggested)

Save time at your appointment by filling in the following forms in advance and bringing them with you:

  • Intake Form (part of the Pre-appointment packet – pick one up at any of our open sites or download it here).
  • Any worksheets that are required for your return.  What’s required?  Click here for more information.

Very Important

Please remember to bring:

  • Your government-issued photo ID (and your spouse’s ID if filing jointly)
  • A Social Security card, ITIN card, or SSA-1099 for everyone listed on your return

We can’t complete your return without these documents.

When Should I Arrive?

Please plan to arrive before your scheduled appointment.  If you need help completing the Intake/Interview & Quality Review Sheet or one of our worksheets, feel free to arrive a little earlier so we can assist you.

We look forward to seeing you!
