From February through mid-April, our tax counselors are ready to answer your questions at any Thurston County Tax-Aide site.

When Thurston County Tax-Aide sites are closed, you can still get help by submitting a request to AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Online tax assistors.

IRS Individual Online Account

Creating or accessing an IRS Individual Online Account gives you easy access to the information you need to file your return. With an account, you can:

  • View balance owed, payment history and schedule payments.
  • Cancel scheduled payments – new feature for 2024.
  • Get transcripts.
  • View or create payment plans.
  • See digital copies of some IRS notices.
  • View key data from your most recently filed tax return, including adjusted gross income.
  • Validate bank accounts and save multiple accounts, so you don’t have to re-enter bank account information every time you make a payment.
  • View, approve and electronically sign power of attorney and tax information authorizations from your tax professional.
