Introduction
Local volunteers from the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program serving Thurston County, Washington (known as WA-1, District 20), have created, maintain, and operate this website (the “Service.”). We created this Service to publicize the free tax preparation and assistance which we provide through the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program in our local community and to help recruit new volunteers.
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Your privacy is important to us. We do not ask for personal information unless we truly need it to further our non-profit mission. We do not collect your information without your consent. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law or protect our rights. Most emphatically, we do not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying information to anyone.
We don’t collect, store or use your personal information except to respond should you use our Contact Form or send us an email or to send you our annual newsletter or other time sensitive information about our program, provided you have subscribed to such information and not taken steps to unsubscribe.

Information Collection and Use and Your Right to Delete

For example, we have a “Contact Form” on our website which you can use, in addition to email, to send us questions or ask for further information about our program. We ask users to provide their name and email address. We also ask those who would like to receive our annual newsletter or other time sensitive information about our program to provide their email address. At your request, we will delete your personally identifiable information from our contact lists. You can use our Contact Form or email us at support@taxaidewa20.org to make such a request.
