Online Appointments – AARP Foundation Tax-Aide: Thurston County, Washington

We are now accepting online appointments

You may book your appointment online using software from Fresha.com. To book online, you will be asked to create an account. If you wish to book from a smart phone, you must install the Fresha app from the App Store or Google Play on your phone. If you prefer, you can make an appointment by calling our Appointment Line (360-347-6267) and wait for us to call you back or visit one of our Thurston County Tax-Aide sites when open.

Remember, you must schedule a separate appointment for each return that you want us to prepare. You must also complete a separate Intake/Interview and Quality Review Sheet (Form 13614-C) and applicable Worksheets for each return you want prepared.

Step One - Choose a Site

We have seven Tax-Aide sites in Thursday County. From the table below, choose the site which works best for you. If we prepared your return last year, we recommend that you return to the same site. If no appointments are available on the date that you prefer, you may want to change locations to see if there is another site with available appointments on that date.

Step Two - Choose a Service

Please choose the type of Federal Individual Income Tax that you want us to prepare. Remember, you must book a separate appointment for each return you want prepared.

Step Three - Choose a Date and Time

When booking your appointment, please choose a date by which you are confident that you will be able to (1) download and print a Pre-Appointment Packet or pick one up from one of our sites; (2) fill out and sign our Intake/Interview and Quality Review Sheet (Form 13614-C) and complete any applicable Worksheets; and (3) have in your possession all the documents we need to prepare that return.

If you show up for your appointment without the required government issued, Photo ID, Social Security/ITIN cards, and the other documents we need to prepare your return, we may have to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

If you expect to receive a years-end Broker’s Statement, we recommend that you book your appointment for mid to late March.

Please note that your appointment time is just our best estimate of when a counselor will be available to prepare your return. Some returns take longer to prepare, so please be patient. Our volunteers do their best to minimize your waiting time.
